What is a micro- wedding? According to the Wedding Spot blog, they define a Micro- Wedding as " any ceremony and/or reception with less than 50 total guests. Couples often combine an elopement and a reception to create their micro wedding, but you have the option to do both with a smaller party."
Look, this trend is great, win- win during this time! Personally, I have been in the event industry for almost 10 years. We have seen the most amazing weddings!! Big, small, destination, local back yard, and this trend is our newest favorite. I got engaged right before Covid-19 came in and squashed my own wedding planning dreams ( I have been helping other people for years, I wanted to plan mine! ) At first, who couldn't be disappointed. We thought weddings might be done. WE COULD NOT BE MORE WRONG!
